Starby Spa

Starby Spa, Hotel and Conference is a family-owned hotel, beautifully situated on the eastern shore of Lake Vättern in Vadstena, right between Stockholm and Gothenburg. They offer high-quality overall experiences with package deals for conference guests and weekend visitors, including gastronomic experiences.

The construction of Starby’s new 1100 m² spa had a focus on creating an ambiance of harmony and energy that interacted in a beautiful and pleasant environment. For the spa entrance, Träullit delivered Träullit Acoustic in a natural white cement finish which was installed on the interior ceiling structure. Träullit Roof Element was installed directly onto the glued laminated timber beams in the spa area. The products’ properties contribute to serene acoustics and a consistent room climate that unapologetically meets the high demands for sound absorption, moisture balance, beautiful aesthetics, and a long lifespan that these particularly demanding environments require.
