Starby Spa

Starby Spa, Hotel & Conference is a family-owned hotel beautifully located on the eastern shore of Lake Vättern in Vadstena, ideally situated between Stockholm and Gothenburg. The hotel offers high-quality, all-inclusive experiences for both conference guests and weekend visitors, including a strong focus on gastronomy.

The construction of Starby’s new 1,100 m² spa was guided by the ambition to create an environment defined by both harmony and energy, carefully balanced within a calm and inviting setting. For the main spa area, Träullit Roof Elements were mounted directly onto the glued laminated timber beams.

The material properties contribute to a serene acoustic environment and a stable indoor climate, meeting the high demands for sound absorption, moisture regulation, durability, and aesthetic quality required in this type of setting.
